One of the biggest struggles that hospitals have with equipment replacement is keeping the construction period as short as possible so the time period without the use of the equipment is as short as possible. Couple this driving force with quickly changing technology, plus the need to keep costs to the minimum and you have a pressure cooker of stress.

This project replaced an existing Philips Cystoscopic system with a new OEC Cystoscopic system. In addition to the new equipment, a new lead-lined partition wall to create a new protected control room was required.
